The toolkit currently offers the following cryptographic algorithms grouped into a single library: AES aka Rijndael, Blowfish, Cast-128, Cast-256, 3DES, Mars, Safer+, Serpent, and Twofish.

This cryptographic library is designed for OEM use and available for a wide range of target platform environments. Developers require no cryptographic background to incorporate privacy and authentication services into their applications. Suitable for a multitude of potential applications, e.g. electronic funds transfer, electronic banking, secure E-mail, disk and file encryption, network user authentication, secure software distribution, etc.

It features a consistent and simple-to-use 'C'-language API to the cryptographic routines, support for ECB, CBC, 8-bit OFB, and 8-bit CFB operation mode, and is fully reentrant at the process and at the thread-level. The package also contains a simple file encryption tool utilizing the various encryption functions, sample make files and other source code examples.
